September/October update

Wow, it's been almost 2 months since my last post here.
So, what am I going to tell you? Well, the record isn't done.
BUT before all 3 of you people who read this go out and riot
the streets, hear me out...

I have 7 songs done. I'm in no man's land. It's the worst. I
havent been able to track in weeks due to location. BUT,
here is the good news...I am going to schedule time in about
2 weeks to record again and get re-aquainted with my audio
beast.

I also put up a couple of new song clips on www.myspace.com/suncancelled

I also have begun to play again.

August Update

It's great to see the 3 of you that read this blog again. : )

I write you this update 10,000 feet above sea level. I'm
in brekenridge, Colorado. I'm currently sitting in an
internet cafe appropriately called the "Internet Cafe"

Last night I worked and finished the 7th song to the
full lenth. The track is called Vitamin K.
I leave for Arizona again on Thursday and I will spend
the next month getting the songs mixed and ready to
be mastered. I really hope they will someday be enjoyed
by all.

Each day has been different while recording. Self doubt makes an apperance regularly.
Some days I feel I wont finish one song. Some days I think I'll finsih 9. Regardless,
it's an experience and I'm so happy to be in the mountains of Colorado again.

I am finally in the studio recording the next Sun, Cancelled release.
Things have started out well. I'll post more about it as it becomes
clear what it's gonna sound like. Thanks as always for stoping by here.

it sure is raining in arizona a lot. grey every day.

this is a much happier post than last months. i'm getting very
excited for things on the horizon. so the record is pretty much
written now. the studio is 2 months from completion and i'm
finalizing the month i will take to fully flesh out these songs.

at the end of May i will travel back up north to the mountains
of Colorado where i will be holed up for a month of recording
the Sun, cancelled record. It is at this time too that I will record
a new EP for www.sundaysinspring.net May might seem like a
ways away, but i am super excited. in the mean time i have begun
playing bass for the band El oso negro. www.elosonegro.com or
www.myspace.com/elosonegro will let you in on the secret.

(insert clever way to say "hello" here)

this is kael from sun, cancelled. I am currently building my studio in Mesa, Arizona and
things are going really fantastic. I am demoing all the new songs that I have and will
be recording the full length myself. I am very happy with how things are going to turn out.
Although, I hope my high expectations of myself hold true. Thank you for checking here! Once
the record is all done and put out I will begin to tour.
